Senior SAP ABAP Developers for Report Writing project - Remote

Position Overview

We are seeking a experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developers with strong experience in Report Writing to join with a Techno-functional Lead and the end client SAP team to update the existing reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in technical development, with a primary focus on report writing, design, development, optimization and testing across SAP S / 4HANA and ECC environments. This role requires deep hands-on experience with ABAP, CDS views, SAP Query, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, ALV reports, and OData services , along with a strong understanding of functional business processes across Finance, Supply Chain, Sales & Distribution, Procurement, and Manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with your team Lead in the design, development, delivery of updated and new SAP reports (standard and custom) aligned with business requirements.
• Collaborate with your team lead and functional teams to analyze reporting and take written specs into new and or updated reports.
• Develop reports using ABAP, CDS Views, ALV, SAP Query, SmartForms, and Adobe Forms .
• Create analytical reports and dashboards leveraging SAP Fiori, Embedded Analytics, and SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud).
• Build and optimize OData services to support reporting in Fiori / UI5 applications.
• Ensure reports are compliant with SAP best practices for performance, security, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing reports, ensuring timely support for business operations.
• Participate in end-to-end SAP project life cycles : requirements gathering, functional / technical design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Provide knowledge transfer, documentation, and training to internal teams and end-users.
• Act as a bridge between functional and technical teams , ensuring alignment and smooth delivery of reporting solutions.
