CNA Instructor

Description :

Bridgerland Technical College is looking for an experienced professional nurse (RN or LPN) to instruct high school students in Nursing Assistant training at our Brigham City Campus. The instructor will work under the direction of the Practical Nursing Director and / or Nurse Assistant Coordinator for approximately 16-20 hours a week.

Requirements :

Applicants must have experience as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse and be highly motivated, well organized, and people oriented. An active RN license with at least two years of industry experience is required with at least one year experience in long term care or caring for elderly or chronically ill patients. Previous teaching experience is preferred. Licensed nurse must be in good standing with the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing (DOPL). Applicants must be able to pass a Utah DACS background check and be approved as an instructor by the Utah Nursing Assistant Registry (UNAR).

Wage :

Hourly wage commensurate with experience and training.

Hours / Schedule :

This is a part-time position, approximately 16-20 hours a week (Class is held in the mornings Monday through Friday in Brigham City).
