Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field (or equivalent work experience.)
- Five (5) years or more of experience as a Full Stack Developer.
- Five (5) years or more of experience with the operation and maintenance of enterprise applications including working knowledge of the following :
i) Back-end : Experience with object-oriented programing in languages such as PHP or Ruby. Experience with REST (Representational State Transfer) and web protocols.
Interest in functional programming languages such as Elixir is a plus.
ii) Front-end : Experience with React JS, HTML, CSS, and WebPack.
iii) Server : Comfortable working from the command line in a UNIX environment.
iv) Tools : Familiar with Git version control software.
v) Database : Experience with relational databases and SQL. Oracle experience is a plus.
- Able to support the migration of the CSAB application from the State Data Center to an AWS Cloud environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
- Possess excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of individuals including, but not limited to, thefollowing : executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Possess excellent technical writing skills, including the ability to write complex reports, plans, and briefings.
- Possess strong organizational skills.
