About the Role
CBRE is seeking a skilled Union Operating Engineer to support an aerospace technology facility in Des Plaines. This 2nd-shift position will be responsible for the comprehensive maintenance and upkeep of a facility encompassing various building sizes, industrial systems, and equipment.
As part of the Engineering and Technical Services team, the Union Operating Engineer will provide essential support in the following areas :
- HVAC systems
- Plumbing systems
- Electrical systems
- Carpentry
- Preventive maintenance
- General equipment and system repairs
This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the operational efficiency of a critical aerospace technology facility.

The pay range for this position is subject to an applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement. The negotiated rate for the Union position is or $49.65 per hour. Please refer to the Collective Bargaining Agreement regarding pay scale.
