Role Technical Healthcare Project Manager

Location Remote / MST working hours.

Duration - 6 months, possibility for C2H.

Job description -

Technical healthcare PM .

Project Leadership :

Lead cross-functional teams to deliver IT projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.

Stakeholder Management :

Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Claims, Enrollment, Provider Services) and external vendors to gather requirements and ensure project alignment.

Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership.

Technical Oversight :

Work closely with developers, system architects, and infrastructure teams to ensure technical feasibility and quality.

Translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Compliance & Risk Management :

Ensure projects adhere to HIPAA, HITECH, and other relevant healthcare regulations.

Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.

Process Improvement :

Promote Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies as appropriate.

Drive continuous improvement in project delivery and team collaboration.

Experience : Five plus years as a technical project manager, ideally with a health plan

Key attributes : Proactive driver, a confident and crisp communicator, can orchestrate without pulling people into constant meetings, can be pushy and polite / diplomatic, is comfortable asking questions to embrace the subject matter, can operate in ambiguity and drive clarity.

Knowledge of HealthRule Payer and / or JIVA would be helpful but not essential.
