Responsibilities

The Sales Director's key responsibilities include managing a small team. The Sales Director will be actively involved in decisions for existing and future business developments. This position will identify, select, train and be responsible for the team and their results to accelerate growth and profitability for our customers and for Amcor.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Develop new business and increase profitability at customers by driving organic growth through your team
• Align key Amcor resource personnel with their customer counterparts to develop deep customer relationships
• Develop plans to execute strategy to exceed sales goals over the next 5 years and beyond
• Ensure that Amcor's total offerings, products, and services, are represented in a unified manner to deliver the One Amcor approach
• Successfully identify solutions Amcor can provide to enable broad account relationships at the mid to high levels while spreading throughout the functional areas of each organization
• Build a customer profile while identifying the target areas for Amcor based on synergies and strategies of both organizations
• Ability to drive business on a regional basis where applicable, travel as needed
• Implementation and support of robust commercial processes to provide transparency and enable effective communication
• Identify and develop key internal resources required to achieve customer growth goals
• Develop and mentor individuals on your direct and indirect team to be world-class professionals
• Ownership of the top and bottom-line results of each account under your team's management

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with 5-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area. 3-5 years experience in the Packaging field preferred. Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to work cross-functionally to drive business solutions. Solid relationship building focus. Proficient computer and organizational skills. Ability to learn new products and technologies. Effective analytical and problem-solving mindset. Strong negotiation and business skill sets. Self-starter that is results oriented.
