Accounts Payable Clerk

Purpose and Scope / General Summary : Do you love working with numbers and have experience working in a fast-paced environment?

Are you seeking an opportunity to work with a team that will train you and help grow your career?JBS is seeking candidates for an Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk position at our Corporate Office in Greeley, CO.

In this role, it is expected for you to be highly organized, proactive, able to meet deadlines, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities :

• Work in SAP and Excel to enter invoices to be paid for various business units
• Assist with Vendor inquiries
• Maintain filing of invoices
• Maintain high level of accuracy
• Complete tasks within the allotted time frame
• Other accounting duties as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous customer service experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Excel preferred
• Strong typing skills including 10-key preferred
• Proficient professional verbal and written communication skills
• Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits :

• Benefits : Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
• Paid Time Off : sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
• 401(k) : company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule; and
• Base salary range of $19-$20 / hr;

For individuals assigned and / or hired to work in Colorado, JBS and Pilgrim’s is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role.

This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account various factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to a candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiencies for the role.
