• Provides direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Unit (CVU) using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.\n
• Essential Functions Additional Information\n
• Patient Populations Served : Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.\n
• Protected Health Information Accessed : Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.\n
• Exposure : Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees.\n
• Physical Requirements : Frequent standing, walking, lifting / moving patients, and repetitive hand / arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.\n\nEducation : \n\nAssociate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.\n\nLicense / Certifications : \n\nCurrent RN license in state of practice;\n\nBCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.\n\nLifepoint Health is a leader in community-based care and driven by a mission of Making Communities Healthier.
