Strategic Technical Sourcer
CommandLink is seeking a Strategic Technical Sourcer to identify, engage, and nurture Staff and Principal-level Software Engineering talent across South America. You'll partner closely with recruiters and engineering leaders to develop targeted pipelines, leverage market insights, and execute outreach strategies that strengthen our technical hiring foundation across the region.
Key responsibilities include :
- Source and engage Staff and Principal Software Engineers across South America (Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, and beyond).
- Build and execute regional sourcing strategies using LinkedIn, GitHub, Gem, and other technical platforms.
- Conduct market research and talent mapping to uncover where top technical leaders are and how to reach them.
- Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to align on sourcing priorities and deliver high-quality candidate pipelines.
- Represent CommandLink's brand through authentic outreach and engagement in South American engineering communities.
What you'll need for success :
4+ years of experience sourcing technical talent, with a strong focus on Staff or Principal-level engineers.Fluency in Portuguese and Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication in English.Proven success as a top-performing sourcer consistently meeting or exceeding pipeline, outreach, and conversion goals.Deep understanding of sourcing metrics, funnel management, and performance reporting (e.g., response rates, submittal ratios, time-to-engage).Experience using data and analytics to optimize sourcing strategies and demonstrate measurable impact.Expertise in South American markets (LATAM) and advanced proficiency with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Gem, Boolean search, etc.).Highly analytical, self-motivated, and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, global, remote-first environment.Why you'll love life at CommandLink :
