We are currently seeking a meticulous and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to support one of our clients in Buckhead, Atlanta . This position is ideal for a professional with a solid foundation in invoice processing, vendor relations, and reconciliation across multiple entities. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a commitment to accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.

Primary Responsibilities

Manage high-volume invoice processing across several legal entities, ensuring precision and prompt payment.

Oversee AP inboxes and facilitate invoice approvals with internal stakeholders.

Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies through direct engagement.

Maintain up-to-date vendor records in alignment with company policies.

Assist with month-end closing procedures and contribute to financial reporting.

Partner with purchasing and operations teams to ensure correct GL coding and documentation.

Identify and recommend process enhancements, including automation opportunities.

Act as a liaison for vendor inquiries and internal AP-related questions.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounts payable or a related accounting function.

Hands-on experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple tasks independently.

Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
