Inaugural School Director Full Professor Marieb College of Health Human Services Florida Gulf Coast University

The client's Marieb College of Health & Human Services is seeking a dynamic individual to serve as the inaugural School Director for a newly established school that combines the Departments of Social Work, Counseling, and Counseling and Psychological Services. Reporting to the Dean of MCHHS, the School Director will be responsible for implementing the vision, mission, and strategic plan of the college within the new school. This individual will play a key role in leading the educational programs, fostering innovation, and promoting collaboration within the MCHHS and FGCU.

The ideal candidate for this position will be a visionary leader with a strong commitment to inclusivity and collaboration. They must have experience in organizational administration, curriculum development, and faculty mentorship. The School Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the educational programs, including governance, curriculum development, recruitment, and evaluation. Additionally, they will be expected to contribute to research and scholarship, participate in university committees, and support interprofessional education initiatives.
