The Communications & Enablement Sr. Consultant within the Client Services (CS) Strategic Initiatives and Transformation Office will be a results-driven individual with a digital-first approach to content development through skilled writing, visual design, and a passion for process improvement. This role joins the team responsible for both internal and external communications and enablement efforts, working with colleagues from around the world across all facets of Client Services. The team tells the story of how we support Visa's clients, ways we're incorporating generative AI into the service journey, and how we're addressing client feedback across our products and solutions all to drive our clients' success. It's an exciting time to join Client Services in a team with high visibility both across the organization and with leadership.

This role requires a dynamic, well-rounded team player with the ability to ingest information quickly and pivot when needed, and a keen focus on the "what," the "so what," and the "now what." The role will flex across a variety of mediums with a focus on internal and external content strategy and development through writing and design, content marketing, and communications campaign management and measurement. The ideal candidate will blend strategic thinking with pragmatic and efficient execution to create key messages, optimizing content by channel and audience to make an impact.

This position can be based in either Denver or Atlanta and will report into the Senior Director, Global Client Services Communications and Enablement. This is an individual contributor role and requires a skilled communicator with strong business acumen, ability to operate independently, a curiosity to streamline our daily work through technology and GenAI, and an ability to deliver quickly.

Responsibilities :

  • Drive awareness of our CS narrative through thought leadership, marketing resources & sales enablement collateral via digital content planning and development including executive presentations, tear sheets, case studies, videos, graphics, events, social media, web content and more for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leverage Visa's existing brand assets to create content to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate target audiences.
  • Ability to think strategically and identify key messages to drive clarity on what is changing, who it affects, and what's in it for the audience across various channels and in a holistic and digestible story.
  • Work with broader Client Services stakeholders to define and develop content and digital assets that support our business strategies and key performance indicators.
  • Manage a global editorial calendar and work with key subject matter experts to develop and execute content ideas.
  • Monitor progress and evaluate success using a data-driven approach, while continually improving processes to increase efficiency and impact.
  • Stay informed of best practices in communication, change management and the platforms we use to bring innovative ideas to the organization and improve user experience.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Basic Qualifications :

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • Prior experience in communications or change management role with a track record of developing and communicating a strategy, building relationships across teams and influence key stakeholders to achieve business goals.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute effective communication strategies with demonstrated critical thinking and ability to operationalize strategy.
  • Strong writing and visual design skills, with a digital-first approach.
  • Superb graphic design experience including PowerPoint slide design and animation skills.
  • Experience with content marketing, program management, and measurement.
  • Ability to work independently with limited oversight, and as part of a team with a collaborative mindset and desire to provide your perspective.
  • Proficiency in using technology and generative AI to enhance work processes.
  • Hands-on team player with strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to pivot quickly based on latest developments with a high level of accuracy. You resourcefully overcome unexpected roadblocks and carry a strong sense of accountability, operating with sound judgment and high standards.
  • Experience in financial services, technology, customer service, and / or change management (i.e. Prosci).
  • Stellar written and verbal communication skills, including interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment and with blurry boundaries regarding roles and responsibilities.
  • Strength in distilling what matters from what doesn't to create impactful artifacts. Keen attention to detail, polish and presentation.
  • Demonstrates the ability to think collaboratively and creatively, connect the dots, innovate, iterate, drive alignment, and has a passion for excellence.
  • Ability to critically analyze and assess data to derive actionable insights.
  • Uses growth mindset to learn from past experiences, seeking feedback, and applying it to the next iteration.
  • Strong process orientation, organized and methodical in approach, always looking to set things up in a streamlined, standardized, and scalable way.
  • Self-motivated, strong curiosity, and minimal need for direction.
  • Comfortable using Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Suite and Generative AI tools.

    U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY : The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 127,300 to 184,950 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA / HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
