Job Description :

Dash Bio is seeking a PhD-level scientist with a talent for communication to join as our Marketing Content Specialist. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of science and storytellingtranslating complex bioanalytical methods and technologies into authoritative, accessible, and compelling content. Youll work closely with Dashs scientists to understand workflows, assays, instrumentation, and emerging technologies, then develop high-quality content that positions Dash as a bold and transformative CRO and authoritative source of bioanalysis content. You will partner with graphics and website designers to make narratives come to life.

This is a unique opportunity for a bench-trained scientist with strong writing skills to help shape the voice of a fast-growing company disrupting the clinical bioanalysis space.

Key Responsibilities : Content Creation & Thought Leadership

  • Author authoritative scientific and technical content (white papers, case studies, technical notes, blog posts, presentations, webinars) that highlight Dashs expertise in bioanalysis and our transformative tech platform.
  • Translate bench-level science into compelling narratives for both scientific and non-scientific audiences.
  • Develop messaging around bioanalytical methods (e.g., LC-MS / MS, ligand-binding assays, NGS, PCR, Flow), supporting technologies (automation, AI, robotics), and their application to specific modalities and therapeutic areas.

Collaboration with Scientists & Teams

  • Partner closely with Dash scientists, automation experts, software developers, and leadership to extract insights from experiments, workflows, and technology platforms.
  • Attend lab discussions and scientific meetings to capture platform developments for content use.
  • Support Marketing, Sales, and Leadership with technical messaging, positioning, and campaign development.
  • Brand Building

  • Help establish Dash as a thought leader in clinical bioanalysis by creating content for conferences, webinars, and industry events.
  • Contribute to media, PR, and digital channels by ensuring scientific accuracy and authority in all materials.
  • Market Awareness & Storytelling

  • Stay current with scientific and regulatory trends in bioanalysis to ensure Dash content reflects industry direction.
  • Craft narratives that differentiate Dashs value proposition in a competitive CRO and bioanalytical services landscape.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to support the Sales team as well as continuously monitor the competitive environment and improve our positioning
  • Qualifications :

  • Education : PhD in a relevant bench science field (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmacology).
  • Scientific Expertise : Hands-on experience with bioanalytical methods, assay development, or instrumentation strongly preferred.
  • Communication Skills : Exceptional scientific writing, editing, and presentation skills. Ability to make complex science accessible without oversimplifying.
  • Experience : Prior experience in science communication, marketing, technical writing, or related role in biotech / biopharma is a plus.
  • Collaboration : Comfortable working with both scientific and commercial teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Creative Edge : Ability to think strategically about positioning and messaging while ensuring rigor and accuracy.
