• JOB SUMMARY \n\nThe Registered Nurse functions as a vital member of the healthcare team who contributes to the success of Marshfield Clinic Health System by demonstrating customer / patient focus, effective communication, professionalism and self-development, and teamwork. S / he utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care provided to selected patient populations and their families. This individual demonstrates excellent clinical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and leadership skills, and makes decisions consistent with Marshfield Clinic Health System policies, department protocols / guidelines, and the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act.\n

• EDUCATION \n\n_For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation. \n

• Minimum Required : \n\n+ Current Registered Nurse License awarded by the applicable state or Nurse Compact License.\n\n+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.\n\n+ Additional department-specific certifications, licenses, or memberships may be required (varies by department / location).\n\n+ Affiliated staff privileges at associated hospital may be required (varies by department / location).\n
