Patient Access Service Specialist

A company is looking for a Patient Access Service Specialist II.

Key Responsibilities

Perform patient admitting and registration activities, ensuring accurate collection of demographic, geographic, and financial information

Verify insurance benefits and collect applicable copays while adhering to state and federal regulations

Provide excellent customer service and support for internal and external parties, coordinating with nursing and transport staff for timely patient transfers and discharges

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma required

Minimum of one (1) year of patient or customer service experience required; three years preferred

Experience with computer systems and electronic medical records

Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to patient access

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
