Your Responsibilities : As a Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in fostering client relationships while managing our seasonal tax office. You will :
- Collaborate with the District General Manager to devise and execute growth plans for your office, building local partnerships and ensuring community engagement.
- Support recruitment and interviewing efforts for tax office associates.
- Act as the primary contact for addressing on-site escalated client service issues.
- Manage client scheduling to ensure a smooth experience and resolve any conflicts.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and to quality standards.
- Create a dynamic team atmosphere by coaching associates and recognizing outstanding contributions.
- Lead daily team meetings, disseminating essential information to your associates.
- Prepare weekly work schedules and oversee accurate timekeeping and overtime management.
- Assist in preparing tax returns as needed.
- Conduct performance reviews and partner with the Associate Relations Center to handle associate issues and concerns.
Your Qualifications :
Experience in customer service, with prior supervisory or management roles.Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course is necessary if you will prepare tax returns.Annual continuing education and compliance with all IRS and applicable state requirements.Proficiency in computer skills, particularly MS Office.A proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.A passionate, determined, and resilient attitude with a focus on customer service.Availability to work a flexible schedule and adapt to changing business needs.A high school diploma or equivalent.What We Prefer :
