Job Description
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Under supervision, utilizes the site installation schedule to prepare site specific equipment suites for each team going to the site
- Maintains Configuration Management of site diagrams and documents
- Reads and interprets PDF of site drawing packages
- Reads and interprets site specific equipment layouts
- Programs, tests and evaluates port assignments, connected equipment, and site specific configuration
- Assists the logistics teams as a technical representative and manage SFP inventory
- Works as part of the Pre-Installation Testing & Check Out (PITCO) team, to ensure the daily programming, testing, and operational capacity testing of ENE being deployed globally
- Supports the Logistics team as a technical reference or support deployable teams deployed to various locations around the globe in a reach back capacity
- This position will have flexible travel for end product support, up to 20% per year
Requirements
MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS :
- Minimum of a two-year technical degree and four or more years work related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Entry level understanding and comfort level with the following information technology equipment to include hardware, software, and basic theory : CISCO CCNA (Routing and Switching, Service Provider) Familiarization and understanding of IOS-XEFamiliarization and understanding of IOS-XR Juniper HardwareJuniper JUNOSLocal Area NetworkingCopper / Fiber connectivityIntrusion Detection / Prevention SystemsMicrosoft Windows ServersLinuxPython
DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS :
CCNA, Security +, or operating system certifications (can be obtained upon onboarding)
SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET / SCI ELIGIBILITY
