Job Summary
We’re hiring a hands-on leader to manage our Greensboro plumbing service teams. The Plumbing Manager will spend roughly 80% office / 20% field time. Duties include coordinating schedules with the CSR team, ensuring high-quality workmanship, handling customer escalations, pulling permits, and developing technicians.
This role primarily supervises and coordinates and will contribute to goal and target-setting conversations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop individual plumbers (performance management, training plans, career progression).
- Partner with CSR team to manage scheduling and dispatch to maximize productivity and first-time fixes.
- Conduct job site inspections, ride along with technicians, and sign off on permits and closeouts.
- Own customer escalations — investigate issues, propose remedies, and restore customer satisfaction.
- Ensure work is completed to code and company quality standards; coordinate permitting and inspections.
- Maintain and improve SOPs for installations, service workflows, and technician onboarding.
- Support inventory oversight and ensure techs have required parts / tools; escalate procurement issues.
- Promote and enforce a safety conscious culture — lead toolbox talks and ensure compliance with safety policies in the Handbook and OSHA best practices.
- Maintain accurate field documentation.
- Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
NC plumbing license preferred.5+ years hands-on plumbing experience (residential / service-focused).2+ years supervisory or lead experience managing field technicians.Valid driver’s license and a driving record acceptable to company insurance.Willingness to submit to drug testing, background checks, and reference checks.Strong customer service, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.Comfortable splitting time between office and field.Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Office and on-site work in residential settings; frequent standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting.May work in attics, crawlspaces, and varied weather conditions when doing ride-alongs or inspections.Compensation & Benefits

Regular hours : Monday–Friday, 40 hours / week.Position will be reachable by phone for escalation during nights / weekends because field crews operate 24 / 7; this is not a formal on-call rotation and does not carry a separate on-call stipend for the manager role.Hiring Conditions
