This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an IT Manager, Quality Engineering in the United States .
In this role, you will lead a large, dynamic team responsible for implementing and championing IT quality practices across the organization. You will define and execute a comprehensive Quality Engineering strategy, covering in-sprint test automation, performance testing, test data management, and quality metrics. Partnering with business and IT leaders, you will shape technology strategy, drive operational excellence, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This position offers the opportunity to influence high-impact projects, support staff development, and ensure delivery of robust, compliant, and reliable IT solutions in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Accountabilities :
- Lead the Quality Engineering Practice by defining and executing the IT quality strategy and framework.
- Drive core quality processes across IT and business functions to ensure compliance with industry regulations, security policies, and best practices.
- Collaborate with IT and business partners to leverage technology for customer value, problem-solving, and solution delivery.
- Manage team workload, staffing, and project assignments, ensuring resources have tools, development opportunities, and an environment to succeed.
- Develop employee performance objectives, provide coaching, and support career growth.
- Represent the IT department in planning and development initiatives.
- Participate in operational oversight, adoption methodologies, and implementation planning for technology projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned, adapting to a dynamic and changing environment.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience considered.6+ years of relevant IT experience across multiple technologies and applications.2+ years of people management experience, including leading distributed teams.Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly.Proven problem-solving and business analysis skills.Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Team-oriented mindset, comfortable navigating ambiguity and change.Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in healthcare, PBM, or regulated industries.Prior experience interacting with executive leadership.Managing large teams, including on-shore / off-shore models.Experience with information systems operations and large systems integrators.Advanced degrees or professional certifications.Benefits
