Description

Purpose & Scope :

Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level, not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require ingenuity and initiative in applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis.

Assumes responsibility for designated areas and procedures as required.

Education :

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Training in radiological procedure is required.

Experience :

One year of healthcare / medical - radiology experience is preferred.

Computer experience is preferred.

Certification / Licensure :

Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.

BLS certification is required.
