Transactional Tax Associate (Mid-Level)

Venable LLP's Transactional Tax Group seeks a mid-level to senior tax associate with a minimum of five years of experience to join the practice in the San Francisco office.

The qualified candidate has experience in international M&A and tax planning work, including cross-border tax structuring, multi-jurisdictional transactions and intragroup restructurings, as well as experience working at a peer law firm or an accounting firm. The successful candidate has excellent oral and written communication skills, and outstanding academic credentials. Candidates must hold a juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to and in good standing with the relevant jurisdiction's bar. The salary range for associate positions is $215,000 to $355,000 per year, depending upon associate level. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of job-related factors including, but not limited to, years of related experience, level of education, skills, credentials and certification, responsibilities and performance.
