Early Childhood Student Assistant Teacher
Job Description
Duties
Duties include but are not limited to : Arrive to work promptly.Demonstrate professionalism and maintain confidentiality.
Supervise and manage children in care.Supervise and implement daily activities, curriculum and routines.Assist co-teachers in daily classroom preparation work and clean up of rooms.
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with parents and other center staff.Establish a supportive and nurturing relationships with children and families.
treat children in a positive manner that encourages individuality and positive self- esteem.Maintain knowledge of all growing regulations and ensure all health and safety protocols.
Other duties as assigned.
- Qualifications
- Preferred Qualifications : It is preferred, but not required, that the incumbent demonstrates completion of a minimum of 15 Child Development units (with passing grades).
Possesses a valid Pediatric CPR and First Aid Certificate.Demonstrates previous experience working at a child care center.
Required Qualifications :
Undergraduate students must be registered / enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall / Spring units.Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall / Spring units.
