A growing industrial machinery manufacturer is hiring Field Service Engineers to join their U.S. service team. These positions are open due to expansion and will support customers across the Midwest (IL, IN, MI, IA, OH, MN, etc.) and East Coast (NJ, PA). If you enjoy troubleshooting complex machinery, traveling to new sites, and working on high-precision industrial equipment, this is an excellent long-term career opportunity.
What You’ll Do
- Install, service, and provide training on advanced CNC and EDM machinery at customer locations.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.).
- Perform preventative maintenance, adjustments, and calibrations to ensure top performance.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Provide customer support and training on equipment use and maintenance.
- Complete service reports, maintain documentation, and submit weekly expense reports.
- Travel by car or air up to 80–100% of the time; all travel expenses reimbursed.
What You’ll Bring
2+ years of hands-on field service experience in manufacturing or OEM environments.Experience working with wire EDM, CNC machinery, or similar industrial equipment.Ability to read schematics and work with AC / DC circuits (120–480V), motor controls, transformers, sensors, and actuators.Familiarity with SolidWorks, CAM programming, or G-Code a strong plus.Comfortable splitting time between mechanical and electrical troubleshooting (50 / 50).Strong communication and customer-service skills; calm and professional under pressure.Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently.Why You’ll Love It Here
