Capo Santa Monica is a Westside fine-dining staple operating in Santa Monica for the past 27 years. Specializing in Italian food from Chef Bruce Marder's unique POV, the menu features a vast array of offerings spanning from house-made pastas, farmers market produce, wood-fired meats & seafood, along with fresh baked breads & pastries made from the finest ingredients. We are looking for a motivated Sous Chef to bring passion and deliver culinary excellence for the team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills in a fast-paced environment, working with the Head Chef to ensure the highest quality of food preparation, maintain kitchen hygiene, and uphold the highest standards for the culinary team. The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, executing all menu items according to recipes and proper techniques, ensuring all team members adhere to standards, maintaining the consistency and quality of all food preparation, manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Spanish-speaking a plus.
