Computer Programmer IV

SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified  Computer Programmer IV .

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

Job Summary : SEACORP is seeking a Computer Programmer IV for our Hardware Solutions Business Area. This candidate will be responsible

for the design, development and implementation of software solutions for

Electronic Warfare Systems.

Responsibilities include :  Development and reviews,

software implementation and testing, and system integration. Experience in the Electronic Warfare domain

desired.

Qualifications :

Education :  Bachelor’s Degree in technical discipline such as Computer Engineering

or Computer Science.

Experience :  Ten (10) years of full-time professional experience in computer programming in a complex computer network environment.

Three (3) years of professional experience in a High-Level Programming Language (e.g. C++, Java, Python).

A combined total of Three (3) years of professional experience with each of the following technologies :

• Operating systems experience in Windows and Linux
• Linux system administration

VMware

Clearance : TS / SCI

Requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship

Location : Norfolk, VA

Travel : Infrequently (

Clearance : Top Secret

Work Environment & Physical Demands : Office & Computer Laboratories - This positions requires the following physical activities : Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and looking at computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
