Senior Production Engineer

Ascent Resources is seeking a Senior Production Engineer. This position is located at our corporate headquarters in Oklahoma City, OK and reports to the Production Engineering Manager.

The Production Engineer performs all conventional aspects of engineering work and requires the individual to be well rounded in experience and / or education in the various areas of production and operations engineering.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Well surveillance and optimization
• Conduct engineering studies
• Evaluate feasibility and economics of proposed projects
• Resolve existing or potential complex production challenges
• Asset management planning
• Workover design and execution
• Production equipment design and troubleshooting
• Cost estimating and budgeting
• Interfacing with working interest partners, service companies and regulatory agencies
