Senior Project Manager Estimator

The Project Manager Estimator is responsible for the administrative and technical management of a construction project including the ability to prepare successful estimates.

The Project Manager functions as the point person for the project and steers the project forward.

Senior Project Manager Estimator Traits

Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage the estimation process for COMMERCIAL / INDUSTRIAL PAINTING projects ranging from $500k to $5MM , ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and profitability.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure business opportunities and foster long-term partnerships.
• Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate project teams, including subcontractors and in-house staff, to optimize resources and achieve project objectives.
• Conduct thorough project assessments, risk analysis, and feasibility studies to identify potential challenges and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior estimators and project management staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic plans, goals, and initiatives to drive business growth and expansion.

Requirements :

• MINIMUM of 4-5 years of experience in the Commercial Painting industry , with a proven track record of successfully managing and estimating projects.
• Strong book of business with established relationships in the commercial construction industry.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and estimation tools.
