RoleWe are transforming our quality strategy from a reactive, end-of-line approach to a quality-first approach - this role is critical in helping drive our Agile Engineering teams to incorporate quality discipline in all phases of the SDLC.
Responsibilities- Be the quality champion and help teams adopt all proper testing work streams in the earliest stages of development
- Coach and influence development teams on how to test and what to test in areas such as functional and non-functional testing requirements, strategy, planning and best practices during kickoff and grooming rituals
- Develop automated UI tests
- Author test plans for E2E User Acceptance, Regression and New Feature Testing
- Analyze Product designs for acceptance criteria, regression risk, and integration issues
- Understand how each component & service affects customer experience
- Manage web & mobile app builds and development environments
- Triage issues through reproduction, capturing recordings, analyzing logs and thorough reporting
- Root cause analysis after production escapes & continuously improves testing approach
- Establish subject matter expertise within a respective product domain
- 5+ years of experience in testing mobile apps, web apps, API & IoT hardware
- 2+ years of experience working with UI Test Automation frameworks such as Appium, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or any comparable platform in any commonly used coding language
- Worked within a Shift Left Testing environment
- Experience working within development IDE such as xCode and Android Studio mobile
- Familiarity with coding languages such as Javascript, TyeScript, Java, C#, Python
- Fluency in Agile development ceremonies
- Familiarity with Atlassian project development software
- Experience in source control such as Git/GitHub
- Test Case Management tools like Zephyr or TestRail
- Automated API/Integration Testing
- Contract Testing
- Familiarity with Wifi-connected Cameras
- Familiarity with Home Security Products
