Facilities Coordinator
Time : Part-time position, 5 hours weekly
Pay : $20 / hour
Reports to : Director of Worship Culture
Primary work relationships : Director of Worship Culture, Volunteers
Secondary work relationships : Beloved Church staff
Function
The facilities coordinator directs and leads cleaning and facilities volunteers. This role supports the health and well-being of The Beloved Church and all attendees. Responsibilities include managing volunteer schedules, ordering cleaning supplies, and cleaning Beloved's building. The coordinator creates their own schedule but must complete weekly tasks.
Responsibilities
- General cleaning and maintenance.
- Bathrooms and kitchen cleaning.
- Vacuuming throughout the building.
- Trash pickup and removal.
- Sweeping and mopping as necessary.
- Regular deep cleaning (windows, dusting, and maintenance).
Planning & Administration
Act as church liaison with volunteer cleaning help.Schedule cleaning supplies deliveries with the main distributor.Manage volunteer schedules and recruit new volunteers when necessary.Update cleaning checklists to reflect health codes and regulations.Physical Requirements
Be prepared to clean the church if volunteers cannot contribute in time for weekly services. This will require walking, standing, lifting, pushing, and pulling. Occasionally moving tables and chairs. Work is mostly indoors but may occasionally require minimal outdoor cleaning.
