Adjunct faculty are required to successfully complete an online Canvas LMS orientation course before being scheduled, as well as other training if required by the department.

This is an on-site blended / hybrid course, students attend class in person 60% of the time and complete the remaining 40% online through Park’s Canvas Learning Management System.

Candidates with a Masters in Statistics, Masters in Actuarial Science, Masters in Finance, Masters in Economics will also be considered.

MA120 Basic Concepts of Statistics Course Description A development of certain basic concepts in probability and statistics that are pertinent to most disciplines.

Topics include : probability models, discrete random variables, normal distributions, confidence intervals, and hypothesis testing.

MA171 Finite Mathematics Course Description A course focusing on mathematical concepts that have business applications. Topics include systems of linear equations and matrix concepts, linear programming, basics of sets and counting principles, probability, and introduction to financial mathematics.
