About CAPTA
The CAPTA program is committed to delivering comprehensive wrap-around services to support one of our most vulnerable groups : substance-exposed newborns (SEN) and young children affected by substance misuse. As part of this initiative, you'll be at the forefront, partnering with families to :
- Reduce the number of substance-exposed newborns (SEN).
- Prevent the removal of children from their families.
- Enhance the overall well-being of both parents and children.
Responsibilities
Providing in-home supportive counseling to families.Conducting thorough Family Situational Assessments.Developing Plans of Safe Care (POSC) to guide families through challenges.Empowering parents to make lasting changes and achieve their goals.Fostering strong, trusting partnerships with families to ensure success.Why You'll Love Working With Us

Education / Experience
Level I : Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with a major in the field of counseling, social work, psychology, nursing, rehabilitation, special education, health education, or a related human services field; and two (2) years of professional experience in the field of child welfare or social services.Level II : Master's degree from an accredited university or college with a major in the field of counseling, social work, psychology, nursing, rehabilitation, special education, health education, or a related human services field and two (2) years of professional experience in the field of child welfare or social services.Other Minimum Requirements
Possess a valid Florida Driver's License in good standing and be insurable by the agency's current insurance carrier.Must meet state criminal background check requirements.Ability to work a flexible schedule.Knowledge of community resources.Job Details
