WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We need a forward-thinking individual, energized by complex and cross-functional
projects. Our best Operations Managers are strategic thinkers and excellent
communicators with an aptitude for driving change. They understand how our
consumer shops behave and engage with our brand, helping to build new processes,
tools and ways of working that allow our APLA Merch teams to deliver consumer-led
assortments and execute the season with high efficiency.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON
On any given day you might be conducting small workshops or meetings to gather
SME s insights that will help you design future processes to bring speed, efficiency and
simplicity to life. You will create plans to bring stakeholders at different levels to the
alignment, training and adoption of these new processes and tools.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH
You will report to the Director of Merchandising Business Integration. This role requires
collaborating daily with various teams such as Planning, Sales, and Global Merch to
deliver results for the GEO. You will focus on our internal costumers in APLA Merch to
find opportunities for improvement while also engaging with cross-functional partners
to ensure smooth integration with enterprise-wide dependencies.
WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE
Bachelor s degree plus 4-5 years of professional work experience in
merchandising, management consulting, corporate strategy, operations, or a
related field (3+ years of work experience with an MBA).
Demonstrated ability to partner on cross functional teams
Passionate about process and tools potential in improving execution.
Expert problem structuring and strategic problem-solving skills.
Compelling storyteller with the ability to influence at multiple levels throughout
the organization.
Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments.
Knowledge of merchandising strongly preferred
Supporting Merchandising Operations APLA with Merchandising Operations. Looking for someone who can take initiative, build strong relationships, is a strong communicator, not shy to ask questions, and enjoys ambiguous environments.
Must Haves :
5+ YOE of merchandising - assortment creation and managing a line of product
Managing central operations - develop processes and roll them out org wide
Knowledge of Merchandising systems
Nice to Have :
Experience with project management
Experience with change management
Experience with merchandising planning
