Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead data science projects from conception to implementation, working closely with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and craft impactful solutions.
  • Design and deploy robust predictive and prescriptive models using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive model validation and monitoring techniques to ensure model performance in production.
  • Analyze large, complex datasets to extract insights and identify trends, patterns, and relationships.
  • Develop custom data algorithms and scientific methods to apply to data sets, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management to inform strategic decisions.
  • Mentor junior data scientists, guiding them in best practices and project execution.
  • Stay abreast of industry advancements and trends in data science and machine learning to continuously improve team capabilities and methodologies.

Requirements :

  • Master’s or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a data science role, with a proven track record of applying data science methods to solve real-world problems.
  • Strong foundational knowledge in statistical modeling, probability, and linear algebra
  • Extensive practical experience with curating datasets, training models, analyzing post-deployment data, and developing robust metrics to ensure model reliability
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with deploying and maintaining machine learning models in a production environment.Experience with developing metrics and running experiments to validate natural language processing systems, especially LLMsExperience with natural language processing for legal applicationsPrior leadership experience or demonstrated ability to lead project teams.

Publications in prominent industry journals or contributions to open-source projects.

The annual gross base salary range for this position is $, to $, Actual compensation for this position may vary and will depend on multiple factors including relevant qualifications, experience, education and geographic location.

This position is also eligible for an annual bonus dependent on various factors, including and without limitation, individual and company performance in addition to base salary.
