What to Expect We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Analyst to support Tesla's mission of accelerating Virtual Power Plant (VPP) adoption through our innovative residential energy products, such as Powerwall and Wall Connector. In this role, you will contribute to shaping the future of sustainable energy by driving strategic partnerships and promoting the integration of renewable energy into existing power systems. As part of the VPP team, you will collaborate with global sales, marketing, product, legal, and operations teams to support the rapid growth of energy products worldwide. What You'll Do
- Build and maintain processes to support partner and program growth goals by identifying key stakeholders and decision-makers for collaboration on VPP technology adoption
- Participate in developing strategic partnership plans to drive VPP adoption, targeting utilities, municipalities, and energy service providers
- Serve as an expert on Tesla's residential energy products, effectively communicating their benefits to potential partners and customers in the utility sector
- Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for VPP projects, addressing unique utility needs while advocating for positive customer outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and operations, to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to identify competitive advantages and enhance sales strategies
- Support business continuity by qualifying new program opportunities and maintaining value-added relationships with existing partners
