Mid-Level Network Administrator (IP)

This position requires an active DoD Clearance (Secret, Top Secret, Top Secret / SCI). Because an active DoD clearance is required, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Our government customer has a career opening for a Network Controller / Administrator at Hill AFB, Ogden UT. We need candidates that have a Secret or Top Secret clearance that have worked in a NOC type environment before (ideally in a military setting). There are several teams, some specialize in Router / Switch, some in SatCom, LAN / WAN, etc. Sec+ certification is also a requirement.

Job Summary

Our customer is located at Hill Air Force Base, UT and acts as the provider of GIG / Defense Information System Network (DISN) services to its customers, the department of Defense (DoD) and national security organizations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct network and telecommunications system incident investigation.
• Identify and document network errors and solutions.
• Analyze network and telecommunications alarms and identify potential issues.
• Configure, test, install, troubleshoot, and maintain network devices such as firewalls, cryptographic devices, and routers to optimize performance and ensure the desired security posture is attained and maintained.
• Configure, test, install, troubleshoot, and maintain network devices, phone systems, including phone units, voicemail, switches, infrastructure, call manager systems, Video Teleconference (VTC) systems video recording / viewing / distribution systems, and related telecommunications trunk circuits.
• Configure, test, install, troubleshoot, and maintain network devices including MSPP, Promina, ATM, and Optical.

Basic Qualifications

Skills : NOC, router, switches, VOIP, Unified communications, Cisco, Nortel, PBX, Avaya.

Top Skills Details : We need candidates that have a Secret or Top Secret clearance that have worked in a NOC type environment before (ideally in a military setting). There are several teams, some specialize in Router / Switch, some in UC / VOIP, LAN / WAN, Cisco and Juniper Routers and Switches, Satellite communications etc.

Additional Skills & Qualifications : These candidates need to have a high level of professionalism as they will be working on an Active Air Force Base.

Pay and Benefits : The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $38.46 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
