Maintenance Manager – Direct Hire

Near Greensboro, NC

Salary

$80,000 – $115,000 + Bonus

Direct Hire | RL Enterprise Recruiting & Staffing

RL Enterprise Recruiting & Staffing is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager for an international custom compounder company with U.S. locations as well as global operations. This is a direct hire leadership role offering competitive pay, bonus, and growth opportunities.

Open to candidates with related expereince in compounding / mixing equipment, or extrusion / plastics.

Overview

Join the team behind innovative custom compounds and play a key leadership role in managing, improving, and maintaining a high-performing production facility.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Establish direction, priorities, and focus for the maintenance team.

Create and manage training objectives for employees at various skill levels.

Conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports.

Evaluate and address the maintenance needs of the plant.

Oversee preventive maintenance and ensure production equipment reliability.

Manage calibration systems for scales, gauges, and instruments.

Lead plant improvement and cost-saving projects.

Approve requisitions for parts and manage vendor services.

Review financial reports and align with company goals.

Recruit, interview, and recommend prospective maintenance employees.

Coach, mentor, and provide corrective action when necessary.

Promote and maintain housekeeping and 6S standards.

Collaborate across departments to resolve issues and maintain productivity standards.

Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and regulations.

Education & Work Experience Requirements

High School Diploma / GED required; Engineering degree or equivalent experience preferred.

7+ years of related maintenance experience.

3+ years in a maintenance leadership role.

Experience implementing and managing maintenance systems.

Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for long periods, bend, squat, twist, and climb ladders / stairs.

Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds.

Good manual and mechanical dexterity.

Ability to wear required safety equipment.
