State Licensed Actuarial Director

A company is looking for a Director, Actuarial Services.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret financial data to address business questions regarding financial projections

Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of actuaries, ensuring accurate and insightful analysis

Collaborate with various teams to develop innovative data-driven solutions and communicate outcomes effectively

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus

Relevant actuarial certification (e.g., ASA, FSA) and membership in good standing with the American Academy of Actuaries

8+ years of experience in actuarial roles, with increasing responsibilities

2+ years of experience managing a team

Relevant experience with Medicare Advantage bid preparation
