Avelo Airlines is an up-and-coming high-value, low-fare airline making strides across the U.S. As a Payroll and Crew Pay Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in fostering strong commitment and retention among our Crewmembers through efficient payroll processes and clear communication.

PURPOSE : The Payroll and Crew Pay Coordinator will assist with accurate and timely payroll processing for our diverse workforce. This role requires strong attention to detail, a service-first mindset, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment. The ideal candidate will bring curiosity and care to payroll operations, assist with audits and reporting, and help maintain clean, compliant processes across Paylocity, N-OC, and ProVerne. They'll also support business processes that protect operational integrity and contribute to a positive Crewmember experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Conduct regular audits of manual payroll processes, including pay code entries, adjustments, and exceptions.
• Maintain comprehensive and organized logs of audit findings.
• Leverage scheduling technology to track, monitor, and audit Flight Crew pay records, promptly identifying and rectifying discrepancies.
• Support the development, documentation, and implementation of standardized payroll procedures.
• Ensure payroll records and related documentation comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the preparation and distribution of payroll reports to management and relevant departments.
• Monitor payroll systems to verify accurate recording of Crewmember hours and pay rates.
• Proactively identify and recommend enhancements to payroll processes to improve operational efficiency.
