General Ledger Accountant
UW Medicine Faculty Practice Plan Services (FPPS) is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented General Ledger Accountant to join our dynamic financial team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of general ledger accounts and producing accurate, timely financial statements for UW Physicians, a complex academic healthcare practice plan. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in journal entry preparation and reconciliation, with a focus on high-impact financial activities such as physician payroll and incentive programs, clinical department funding, and investment allocations. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to navigate multiple financial systems in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
