POSITION : IT Technician Level 2 : Mid-Level
The Mid-Level Technician role will require the employee to have more experience and be able to handle more complex issues, as well as take on more responsibilities. This role requires the ability to mentor junior technicians and manage more aspects of the IT infrastructure. The IT Technician's goal is to support the organization's productivity, efficiency, and technical advancement.
Pay Range : $50k to $62k
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Set-up and configure computers and more complex peripheral devices (e.g., cellular routers, scanners, printers)
- Setup and configure iPhones and iPads within MDM
- Troubleshoot and support mobile devices
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and repairs (hardware and software)
- Install and configure operating systems, application software, and network configurations
- Ensure security protocols and privacy standards are met for users and devices
- Maintain local networks switch configuration changes with the supervision of senior technicians
- Guide and provide orientation to users on the proper use of IT systems and software
- Assist in planning and executing system updates and upgrades
- Track hardware and software inventories, reporting shortages or replacements
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level technicians or management as needed
- Create and maintain user accounts, manage permissions, and implement access controls
- Provide on-call support and after-hours assistance as needed
- Maintain / organize IT stock (e.g. cables, peripherals, devices, etc.)
- Order IT stock with management approval
- Given the nature of IT operations, availability outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, may occasionally be required to complete tasks, perform maintenance, or meet critical deadlines.
- Performs other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and organization

Ability to maintain strong customer relationships by providing excellent service, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring customer satisfactionExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust possess strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyAbility to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervisionStrong troubleshooting and analytical skillsGood knowledge of network configuration, security, and current systemsAbility to train and mentor junior techniciansProficient in managing IT assets and performing software and hardware upgradesAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to pass a drug and alcohol test and possess a valid Driver's LicensePREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION :
3-5 years of experience in IT or related positionsCertification (CompTIA A+, Network+, etc.) or other relevant IT certificationsA degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldPOSITION COMPENSATION :
