What you will accomplish
- Collaborate cross-functionally to secure Ambarella’s information and operating environment.
- Perform security reviews of internal and external technologies.
- Implement security architecture, methods, and controls required to meet security, compliance, and audit requirements.
- Monitor and analyze network traffic, firewall logs, security alerts, and other information to detect threats.
- Triage potential incidents, and conduct security incident investigations.
- Create and improve threat detection rules within SIEM and IDS platforms.
- Build, deploy, and maintain security tools.
- Automate security processes using Python or other languages.
- Develop and maintain security documentation.
- Compose security communications to employees and other constituents.
- Conduct tabletop exercises with internal stakeholders and recommend improvements based on lessons learned.
- Stay up-to-date with current vulnerabilities, attacks, and countermeasures.
What you will bring
- years in a security or related role
- In-depth knowledge of network-based, system level, and application layer attacks and mitigation methods
- Experience with a broad range of security technologies including log analysis, endpoint detection, access management, and offensive tools
- Knowledge network and application security, infrastructure hardening, security baselines, web server, and database security
- Development experience in scripting / programming languages such as Python, bash, JavaScript, or Perl
- Broad knowledge of network protocols including SMTP, DNS, and HTTPS
- Understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework tactics and techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, and the ability to work independently
- Experience with major cloud environments and platforms (Azure, Office )
