Personal Injury Attorney

A Manhattan-based law firm is seeking an experienced and driven

• Personal Injury Attorney
• to join its team. The attorney will manage a caseload from intake through trial, representing plaintiffs in complex personal injury and medical malpractice matters. The ideal candidate will be a skilled litigator who can handle all aspects of the litigation process while providing compassionate, client-centered representation.
• Key Responsibilities
• Oversee all phases of personal injury and medical malpractice cases, from initial consultation through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, discovery demands / responses, motions, and other legal documents.
• Take and defend depositions, including expert witness depositions.
• Represent clients in court for conferences, hearings, oral arguments, and trials.
• Assess case strengths and weaknesses, developing effective strategies for success.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate vigorously on behalf of clients.
• Supervise and collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and support staff.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, providing updates and guidance throughout their cases.
• Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar (additional bar admissions are a plus).
• Minimum of 5 years experience litigating plaintiff-side personal injury and / or medical malpractice cases.
• Proven trial experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Strong negotiation and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage a demanding caseload in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing accuracy or attention to detail.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
