ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLER - SOLDERING

We are looking for an experienced Electronic Assembler with excellent soldering skills to join our manufacturing team.

Required Skills and Job Requirements :

Minimum 5-years hands-on soldering work experience performing : PCBA touch-up, thru hole placement, rework and repair using hand soldering and desoldering tools, and fine-pitch soldering.

Ability to select appropriate methods, materials to perform the touch-up, thru hole placement, rework and repair using hand soldering and desoldering tools.

Ability to remove and replace fine pitch components (E.g. TSOP, QFP, SOIC) without damage to the PCB or components.

Ability to perform repair of damaged PCB traces.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write and speak English fluently.

Must be able to use a computer to read mechanical drawings and written work instructions.

Perform all work to company quality and productivity requirements.

Understand and adhere to ESD and ISO procedures.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Candidates with the following Qualifications / Certifications preferred :

J-STD-001 Soldering Standards and Specifications

IPC-A-610 Acceptability Standards

IPC-7711 / 7721 Rework, modification, and Repair Process Standards

Previous work experience soldering under microscope (miniaturization).

Other Requirements :

Will occasionally / frequently : stand, walk, sit, use both hands, and carry / lift / push / pull to 25 lbs.

This is a full-time position located at our Camarillo facility, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm (October through May). Summer hours (June through September) : Monday through Friday, 7am to 3 : 45pm.

Overtime is required including starting early, staying late, and working Saturdays.

We are ITAR Registered (International-Traffic-In-Arms-Regulations). Hired candidate must be a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.

Required Education :

Minimum : High school graduate or equivalent.

Pay Range

$20 to $26 per hour.
