CMFG Life Insurance Company, d / b / a TruStage, is seeking a Senior Business System Consultant II, ITS, for our Madison, WI office.
The individual may work remotely from any location in the United States but they will report to the HQ in Madison.
The individual in this position is responsible for technical leadership in the development, testing, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of high-quality business systems solutions on various computer platforms, adhering to established methodology and practices, and in accordance with acceptance criteria.
The individual works with company infrastructure to help automate the provisioning of infrastructure resources and with development teams to provide the tools needed to deploy, monitor and support the applications.
The individual designs and implements a reactive cloud architecture as well as improve the continuous deployment chain. The individual will help to minimize incident impacts by reviewing and providing monitoring, logs and metrics and must perform root cause analysis, impact analysis, problem determination and problem resolution support.
The individual will be part of a cross-functional Scrum team that works closely with the business areas that provide requirements on the solution development including operational support.
This individual will act as a leader on medium to large initiatives, including mentoring staff as needed. The position does not have any direct reports or supervisory duties.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science or other related field and five years progressive software development experience.
As part of the five years of progressive software development experience, the individual must have :
- At least 5 years of experience working in a multi-platform computing environment including the application development life cycle using agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban), n-tier development and object-oriented design leveraging the Microsoft development stack;
- At least 5 years of experience presenting business and technical information to stakeholders, including translating the business problem into technical design;
- At least 5 years of experience in development of APIs and microservices and associated documentation for both internal and external consumption;
- At least 5 years of experience with API management solutions, such as IBM API Connect, IBM Data Power, and Microsoft Azure API Management;
- At least 5 years of experience with Azure Dev Ops Build and Release pipelines;
- At least 5 years of experience working with Lending and Lending-related products, including GAP coverage, Mechanical Repair Coverage, Credit Insurance, and Debt Protection to expand business capabilities.

Compensation may vary based on the job level, your geographic work location, position incentive plan and exemption status.
Base Salary Range :
$118,014.00 - $206,525.00
