$75,000 - $90,000 (DOE) + Quarterly and Annual Bonuses

We're working with a fast-growing construction company in Columbia, Maryland that's building something big-literally and figuratively. They've got a startup vibe, stunning new offices, and a leadership team that's serious about developing talent. Right now, they're looking for a Senior Accountant who's ready to take ownership, grow fast, and make an impact.

This Senior Accountant role is ideal for someone who started their career in public accounting and has since transitioned into industry. If you're in year one or two out of public and looking for a place where you can accelerate your career, this is it.

As a Senior Accountant , you'll be involved in full-cycle accounting, project accounting, and AIA billing. You'll work directly with a CFO who's known for being a strong mentor and who wants to see this Senior Accountant promoted to Accounting Manager within 12 to 18 months.

What You'll Do as a Senior Accountant :

Handle full-cycle accounting including GL, month-end close, and financial reporting

Support project accounting and collaborate with operations teams

Manage AIA billing and help optimize systems like Sage Intacct and Procore

Contribute to process improvements and system implementations

What We're Looking For in a Senior Accountant :

3+ years of accounting experience, including time in public accounting

Experience in the construction industry or auditing construction clients

Bachelor's degree from a reputable four-year university

CPA or actively pursuing CPA

Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset

Experience with AIA billing, Sage Intacct, or Procore is a major plus
