Northwell Health is currently in the process of going live with a new Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system called Epic (they currently use an Allscripts product and are migrating). They will be going live with their first wave of hospitals and ambulatory sites in November. They are also in the process of preparing for future go-live waves and installing and deploying hardware.
For this phase of the project, this resource will provide frontline technical support for the deployment of iPhones used with Epic Rover. The technician will assist with staging, configuration, distribution, and end-user support during deployment events.
Key Responsibilities :
What's part of the scope : the phone is set up and imaged by the technician, labeled and checked into the system. Steps include signing in, connecting the device, logging into Office / Outlook, and adding an RFID sticker. These phones are shared devices to use with Epic Rover and do not leave the hospital.
Northwell Health has hospitals and ambulatory sites throughout Long Island, New York City / boroughs, Staten Island and Northern Westchester, so they need technicians that are able to travel to these sites using their own vehicle (mileage / tolls will be reimbursed according to the Northwell reimbursement policy).
Candidates must also be flexible to work both during day and overnight shifts.
Intermediate Level
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00 / hr.
