Hospitalist Job Details

Job Title : Locum Tenens Hospitalist Physician

Location : Portsmouth, NH 03801 (New Hampshire hospitalist jobs)

Practice Setting : Adult Hospital Medicine, Inpatient Care

Assignment Duration : 12 weeks (August 26, 2025 – November 18, 2025)

Weekly Hours : 36 hours per week

Shift Schedule : 12-hour shifts (day or night)

On-site Requirement : Yes

Estimated Weekly Salary : $5,850 – $6,920

Hospitalist Physician Qualifications

Active and unrestricted physician license (New Hampshire medical license preferred)

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

Minimum 1 year of hospitalist experience in a U.S. healthcare setting

Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive inpatient care for adult patients as a hospitalist physician

Manage admissions, daily rounding, and patient discharges

Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and ancillary healthcare professionals

Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record

Participate in hospital quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
