A Day in the Life of an Insurance Service Representative
The Auto Club Group is seeking an Insurance Service Representative who will provide a high level of support to the Insurance Agency and members by servicing existing insurance accounts. Responsibilities include :
Performing retention calls, processing applications, renewals, amendments, resolving customer problems, and selling membership and financial products (credit cards)Providing price quotes on all insurance products and factoring in all applicable rules and discounts to complete the saleTaking insurance payments (initial, installment, lapse, or reinstatement)Responding to customers' insurance inquiries and explaining product features and Auto Club Group service advantages to potential customers for the purpose of promoting and selling various insurance, membership, and financial productsReferring to agent when appropriateRecognizing and promoting cross-sale opportunities within the context of servicing a change to an existing member's policy and providing efficient processing of customer policies, endorsements, and status and coverage changes in accordance with state rules and corporate policies and proceduresProviding customer assistance through the performance of sales processing activities and assisting management and agents when applicableConducting outbound promotional and retention call activities per management request and providing general promotion of Auto Club Group products and services following established guidelinesParticipating in a team environment to promote customer satisfaction and consistent service following the customer service modelReceiving and resolving member / customer complaints and seeking assistance from management in complaint resolution as necessaryParticipating in office events developed to generate insurance revenue, improve member awareness of products, and support local community activitiesFulfilling, maintaining, and servicing insurance policiesResponding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage. Preparing insurance proposals, policy changes, transfers, and billing clarificationContacting members or insureds regarding the renewal of delinquent memberships, late premium payments, and to solicit reinstatements in the event of policy cancellationsVerifying new business applicationsReferring relevant members / insureds to other lines of business (i.e. Travel and Life)Processing insurance and membership paymentsUpdating electronic member informationMaintaining filing systems and providing other general Agency supportHow We Reward Our Employees
Starting hourly wage of $22.96 - $25.46 per hour, based on experience
We Are Looking For Candidates Who
Required Qualifications :
A Current Property & Casualty Insurance licenseMust qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments required for selling and / or servicing Auto Club Group Membership productsSuccessful completion of Customer Service, Insurance, and Membership training within 6 months of hireEducation :
High School Diploma or equivalentWork Experience :

Schedule : Monday - Friday 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 30 PM. 40 hours per week. Scheduled hour for lunch each day.
This is 100% an in-office position at the Coon Rapids branch. Employees will service ACG members in-person and are based on site in an ACG branch facility.
