Staff Accountant Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our client's team in Miamisburg, Ohio, on a long-term contract basis. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a meticulous individual to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, compliance, and operational accounting processes.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and manage journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.
• Oversee general ledger activities and ensure consistency with accounting standards.
• Handle corporate tax returns and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Manage sales tax processes and reporting requirements.
• Maintain and track fixed assets, including depreciation schedules.
• Coordinate month-end close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support audits and financial reviews.
• Analyze and resolve discrepancies in financial data, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve accounting processes and controls.
