Basic Function :
Manages customer growth and maintenance, and exceeds all sales standards
Reporting :
Reports to General Manager and Assistant Manager
Primary Responsibilities :
- Supervises and leads Sales Associates.
- Trains Sales Associates in day to day sales functions and techniques.
- Set specific daily goals to achieve daily sales
- Exceed performance standards for tires, tire service, mechanical service sales and margin.
- Achieve a thorough knowledge of all products, services, warranties and maintenance issues.
- Keep up-to-date through training and vendor publications.
- Keeping sales displays up to date and organized.
- Adhere to Company policies and procedures.
- Handle special orders as requested.
- Maintain a customer tickler file to use as a future sales tool.
- Make customer calls daily.
- Assist other sales or service associates as needed, in an effort to exceed our customer's expectations.
- Ensures marquee is changed weekly with up to date sales etc.
- Help maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the building and perimeter areas.
- Assist in receiving or transferring goods and maintenance of the inventory including unloading trucks and warehouse stocking.
- Maintain showroom merchandise.
- Follow all safety practices as outlined in policy and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requires :
A history of successful retail sales experience.Exceptional customer service skills and a highly motivated, dynamic personality.Strong telephone, verbal and written communication skills.Experience in selling tires, tire related services and / or automotive services highly desirable.Goal oriented with the ability to meet productivity objectives.Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends.Must have a valid Driver's License.Pre-employment :
